Finding Nemo!

Ehhh wheather in NYC... Everybody is so obsessed whith this! A little bit of snow its called the storm! Schools closed, subways not running... In some cities if you leave the house, you be arrested! brrr. DANGER! But to be honest it was day like everyday, just a bit of snow....ok ok and .... WIND! I am proud of myself cause I am here 4 months ( Best wishes Anna in Wonderland) and I've just survived 2 storms:) Regadrs for Sandy and Nemo (btw who is giving that crazy names to the weather conditions?). Eventhough I am not a fan of cold and winter, I am definitely a fan of picturesque Central Park, which looks great in any weather:) And i felf so smart cause I found the statue of Władysław Jagiełło there and I was explaining all  interested people how to pronounce "Ł" correctly and of course the story of the Grumwald battle (one of only few parts of the history I know with more details;)), so I could really show off. Enjoy the winter:) PS: I am about to start the school again and I  feel sooooo young again:)

Cold, colder, Canada!!!

Yes, yes, I know... good organisation it's not my thing... but I'll try be better and write more regular right here... I guess in a year it will be nice page to memorize everything:) It's almost February, but the topic is really important for me, eventhough that happed like a month ago. I spend my Christmas time with my dear firend Kate in her place in Canada! I had a great time with her family and  am so thankful for that ( otherwise I would got crazily depressed and homesick). Regina (the place I stayed) is located in province Saskatchewan. And first thing I need to say about that place its... COOOOLDDDDD!!! So basically I really enjoyed spending most of the time in the front of TV with food and drinks, under warm and comfy blanket (typical polish Christmas hihi;)). Apparently, according to the local legend;p when is aroun -40 deegress (not kidding, its quite common with windchill) when You spill out cold water from the mug... the ice would fall down on the ground! Crazy place....

Anyway To have very brief sum up about the trip- VERY nice people- warm, cherfull and amazing hosters! Even at the airport in Toronto despite all delays, everybody where calm and with the smile on the face... maybe because of the Christmas spirit and carolers:)

What else?? People there love music:) Everywhere music stores, people colecting posters, records etc... Perfect place for collectors! Many antique shops and places with "soul". I know I know... Kate will kill me that jugde the place after one day, but... It was too cold to go anywhere else and jugde after 2 or 3 trips;)

And last but very important thing! Very good foood! Seriously i loved it! And I love drinking coffe(s) for couple hours every morning! Did I mention that there is cold?:)

Favorite places!- 16 Handles

16 Handles is definitely one of my favorite places in NYC! This is like the factory of good mood!!! Not kidding:) This is the place where U can get the best frozen yogurt ever and some extras;] YUMMY! And the most important thing- (apparently) frozen yogurt has less calories than ice cream! Juppi! Anyway! You can mix flavors of Yogurts and add whaterever U want to it.  So basicaly U are creating Your personal sweet masterpiece and than weight it and pay as much as the scale shows. But trust me.... U could spend last cent in there. My best choice? SALTY CARAMEL FLAVOR! Highly recommended!
